²⁹ But Peter and the apostles answered and said, “^(A)We must obey God rather than men. ^30 (B)The God of our fathers ^(C)raised up Jesus, ^[a]whom you ^(D)put to death by hanging Him on a tree. ^31 (E)This One God exalted ^[b]to His right hand as ^[c]a ^(F)Leader and a ^(G)Savior, to grant ^(H)repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
